Topic; Congress candidate Mike Detmer discusses the Biden administration’s COVID response.
Michigan 8th District congressional candidate Mike Detmer yesterday released a statement regarding President Joe Biden’s address to the nation detailing the administration’s latest attempt to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
When asked what he thought of Biden’s address, Detmer responded. Yesterday, Biden announced he would sign executive orders requiring all federal employees to be vaccinated and that all private companies with 100 or more employees require weekly vaccinations or tests at both employer and employee expense. Its orders give OSHA the power of police to impose fines of $ 14,000 on businesses for violation under Title 5, Sections 3301, 3302 and 7301 of the US Code. However, neither Joe Biden nor OSHA has the authority to do anything under Article II of the US Constitution. In fact, the Supreme Court ruled in Jacobson v. Massachusetts that the power of the police force vaccinations to be the responsibility of the states, NOT the federal government.
Detmer continued; What is happening here is this administration’s attempt to push aside the narrative of the disaster in Afghanistan and other domestic policy disasters that are driving Joe Biden and the Democratic Party to utter free fall. What better way to distract from real disasters of domestic and foreign policy than to invoke fear of COVID! Joe Biden and the Democrats are also actively ignoring and destroying the boundaries within which the US Constitution places the federal government.
In conclusion, Detect candidate Added, The bottom line here is that WE THE PEOPLE, not Joe Biden and not the Democratic or Republican parties, hold the power to determine what is best for this nation, for our states, for our families and for the preservation of life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness.
