In the editorial section of this morning’s issue of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is claiming that Scott Walker is finally taking ownership of the problems at the mental health complex:

Supervisors Sound Off On MJS' Irresponsible Editorial

Two days ago, the Editorial Board of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote an alarmingly irresponsible editorial calling for the dissolution of Milwaukee County.

We responded to them that day.

To the paper’s credit, they ran a letter to the editor written by Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic who had this to say:

The Jan. 27 editorial “Dissolve the county” missed [...]

Yesterday, the Editorial Board at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel got it right when they joined us in a call for the dedicated sales tax for the parks system.  They also recognize that this is the only reasonable and responsible approach.
