Blogging Blue points out that just after Scott Walker and seven of the County Board Supervisors let Milwaukee County down by feeding into ignorance, bigotry and fear, other places around the country are moving ahead.
Mecklenburg County, who also have at least one very ignorant and hateful member on their board, passed equal rights for all their people.
Likewise, Washington D.C. just passed their bill which recognizing gay marriages, which is much further advanced than what was proposed in Milwaukee County.
So while the rest of the country keeps moving ahead, Scott Walker and his seven supervisors managed to hold Milwaukee County back. And then they wonder why we have a poor image in the eyes of the rest of the country and have problems drawing the big companies.
