Scott Walker hangs out with the Tea Party people

It seems Scott Walker feels at home with the Tea Party folks. He was a speaker at the anti-government and non-grassroots rally that happened in Milwaukee today.

This is the same non-grassroots rally that Joe the Contractor Plumber apparently got into a fight at.

Renee Crawford was there, and has an eye-witness account of what how the rally turned violent.

Keep it classy, Scott!

  • This finally answers my first question from one of the first posts.

This site is nothing more than a front for the liberal left.

This site with this post has lost any credibility it had.

Given that your standard for this group was likely already quite low, this comes as no surprise. It’s your loss, though. If you feel that it is now safe to ignore us, do so at your own peril.

  • My standard was to have things balanced between liberal and conservative. Sad to see that you think that is unacceptable.

Your blog seems to betray your standards. We proudly tell people that we are a liberal advocacy group. We’re flattered by your calling this out.

      • From your ABOUT US: “Milwaukee County First is a grassroots network of organizations and individuals from all walks of life”

Looks like that needs to be updated.

        I don’t have a blog.

What’s wrong with protesting big government? I think it’s admirable and it IS a grassroots movement. I’ve not been to any rallies but I agree with the substance of the arguments. Why not show both sides of the issue and let the reader decide what’s “classy” or not. Additionally, I’m a union member working in milw county and I’m proud to support Walker. I don’t agree with all his positions but at least he’s doing something.

      Robin,

There is no way on Earth that this farce could be represented as grassroots. It was funded and organized by AFP, which in turn is funded by an oil/chemical company.

If you wish, we could really present both sides of the story, including the pictures of the people that came with their “Obama = Hitler” posters.

If this is the type of crowd that Walker, or you, wish to associate with, that is your right. It is also our right to point it out.

        Hey Chris,
I don’t see any Obama=Hitler pictures in the Journal article you link to and if there were I wouldn’t support that. It’s wrong weather it’s directed at Bush(as in the past) or Obama. You can’t paint everyone with such a broad brush I like to stick with the substance and leave all the rhetoric of BOTH sides behind. As far as being grassroots. I think it is and lots of my friends and neighbors in the community think so too, but that doesn’t really matter what’s your point? I stumbled on this site by accident. It’s ok to have a different point of view and voice it, that’s what makes our country so great. Maybe we should welcome the opportunity to discuss the issues rather than dismissing a whole group of people as “a farce”? Just a thought :)

      • The only farce here are posts and comment from Chris. They always good for a laugh. Too many times you have tried to make 2 plus 2 equal 5.

Robin, Don’t too much about Chris’s comments. Just remember that he has “lie” built right into his name.

  • Andy…I called this group out for what they are way back on July 20th, 2009.

BTW…Haas, all the video of the “fight” you reference that I’ve seen either doesn’t show Joe at all or it shows him trying to separate the arguing parties. I haven’t seen any of the various witness accounts put him in the fight either, not even Crawford’s slanted “take.” How you translate that into Joe “got into a fight” is beyond me…but not a surprise.

    • Roland, I figured someone did that a while ago, but I wanted to give them a chance to prove otherwise. Unfortunately, with this post, they killed that chance.

I would bet that the people in the fight came there looking to deliberately start a fight. I guess I should expect anything less from the lunatic left.
