Some good news finally came out of the Milwaukee County Courthouse today when Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker announced that he would be restoring funding to the Emergency Medical System, which supports the paramedic programs in the county.
Milwaukee County First applauds that decision, but points out that it should never have been even considered in the first place. It was irresponsible to even consider putting lives in possible harm’s way in the first place.
MCF also hopes that this common sense approach is carried through with the rest of the proposed budget which Walker will be presenting in just over two weeks.
I wonder if this is going to be another dancing of the old Scott Walker two step where he flips and then flops and flips and flops. That poor fellow must be feeling a little apoplectic from all that flip flopping around on the stimulus money he took or did not take. I can’t keep track. Did he take the money from the stimulus? Will he take the money so we can have EMS in Milwaukee County?
