The sports complex pays off in exponential levels by saving money on not sending kids to Wales. Spending $200K and saving millions is a good investment in anyone's book. To look at only the immediate cost and not the big picture is not fiscally responsible or very wise. The fish hatchery is also cost neutral, so why not do something positive.

We have reached a point where tough decisions have to be made on what the county can do without to sustain core functions. We elect people to make those decisions on our behalf. The look at his department heads, like Chianelli, who costs the County millions of dollars due to his ineptitude. Money could be spent wiser as well. For the cost of two kids going to corrections, we could have kept the Sports Complex open, preventing scores of kids from getting into trouble. It is all about the return on our investments, and Walker is ripping us off. Start with Walker’s 20 staffers.
