Roland, I figured someone did that a while ago, but I wanted to give them a chance to prove otherwise. Unfortunately, with this post, they killed that chance.

I would bet that the people in the fight came there looking to deliberately start a fight. I guess I should expect anything less from the lunatic left.

Hey Chris,
I don’t see any Obama=Hitler pictures in the Journal article you link to and if there were I wouldn’t support that. It’s wrong weather it’s directed at Bush(as in the past) or Obama. You can’t paint everyone with such a broad brush I like to stick with the substance and leave all the rhetoric of BOTH sides behind. As far as being grassroots. I think it is and lots of my friends and neighbors in the community think so too, but that doesn’t really matter what’s your point? I stumbled on this site by accident. It’s ok to have a different point of view and voice it, that’s what makes our country so great. Maybe we should welcome the opportunity to discuss the issues rather than dismissing a whole group of people as “a farce”? Just a thought

There is no way on Earth that this farce could be represented as grassroots. It was funded and organized by AFP, which in turn is funded by an oil/chemical company.

If you wish, we could really present both sides of the story, including the pictures of the people that came with their “Obama = Hitler” posters.

If this is the type of crowd that Walker, or you, wish to associate with, that is your right. It is also our right to point it out.

Andy…I called this group out for what they are way back on July 20th, 2009.

BTW…Haas, all the video of the “fight” you reference that I’ve seen either doesn’t show Joe at all or it shows him trying to separate the arguing parties. I haven’t seen any of the various witness accounts put him in the fight either, not even Crawford’s slanted “take.” How you translate that into Joe “got into a fight” is beyond me…but not a surprise.

What’s wrong with protesting big government? I think it’s admirable and it IS a grassroots movement. I’ve not been to any rallies but I agree with the substance of the arguments. Why not show both sides of the issue and let the reader decide what’s “classy” or not. Additionally, I’m a union member working in milw county and I’m proud to support Walker. I don’t agree with all his positions but at least he’s doing something.
